I Livets Vår plot

Gerda's life is not exactly a bed of roses. She is still young when her single mother dies, but then it turns out that there is also a father who can take over custody. However, the latter quickly passes this obligation on to others, who turn out to have impure plans that force Gerda to beg in the street. There she is rescued by a wealthy family who adopt her, but the characters of her past will continue to haunt her.
