Om Våld plot
Documentary about the independence struggle of various African countries in the 1960s and 1970s, based on texts from the book 'The Wretched of the Earth' by theorist Frantz Fanon. Director Olsson borrows archive footage of some of the fiercest and most intense battles between rebels and the military. The film shows how the former colonies were 'liberated' from foreign control after sometimes more than 50 years of fighting, with all the associated consequences.
