Der Anständige plot
Heinrich Himmler belonged to the highest echelons of the Nazi leadership. Moreover, he was one of the architects behind the indescribable Holocaust. Partly because of him, Adolf Hitler and the National Socialists wanted to kill as many Jews as possible, a barbaric inhumanity. How can a man do such a thing and how does he deal with such a debt? Israeli filmmaker Vanessa Lapa asks herself these questions in her documentary. The basis for this film are the recently found, unique letters from Himmler, which provide more insight into the working method of the SS leader.
