A predictable horror film with excellent location choices and some gruesome scenes towards the finale, but also one that lingers on the same level for too long. The characters fill familiar roles, leaving seasoned fans with little surprise. Furthermore, the first half hour features relatively few exciting scenes, and the threat remains off-screen for a very long time. Fortunately, director Brant Sersen succeeds in conjuring up some atmospheric scenes in the second half, and the film concludes strongly. Bonus points for that, but the buildup isn't very captivating.
