The Sissy Duckling plot
Elmer is a sensitive duckling who is seen as a sissy by his classmates at school and who is bullied more than once. However, when he saves a life with his special talents, they gain more respect for him and there is more reason for Elmer to feel appreciated among his much nicer classmates.
