Pride of Lions plot
In Afghanistan, five young American servicemen are captured and held hostage by a brutal Taliban warlord. When it turns out that the US military is doing little to help the hostages, a grandmother and four grandfathers decide to travel to Afghanistan themselves to save their grandsons. The five grandparents all have military pasts and their journey soon degenerates into a fierce and heroic adventure. They have to fight several times with the Taliban and have to deal with life-threatening Afghan opium traders. Moreover, they are gradually confronted with their own personal traumas. Despite everything, will the five brave ones manage to get their 'boys' to safety?
