Haru plot
The story is set in a highly advanced world where robots can be programmed to behave as if they were real people. A robot is sent to a small Japanese village to help Kurumi, who has just lost her friend Hal in a plane crash. As the robot tries to ease Kurumi's grief, he struggles to understand what it's like to be human.
