"It's Never Too Late."
Elsa (Shirley MacLaine) is a sociable, retired and lively woman who lives in an apartment in New Orleans. One day, when Puritan widower Fred (Christopher Plummer) moves into the complex, the two bicker and flirt like old lovers. Fred just wants to be left alone but Elsa doesn't want to hear about it. When they get to know each other a little better, a love blossoms between them.
