In the autumn of 2011, Norwegian author Karl Ove Knausgård completed his mammoth project My Struggle. The six novels with titles such as Vader, Liefde and Engelen van slowly are a great success: more than a million copies have been sold in sixteen countries. The writer reports on an in-depth self-examination and does not spare himself and his immediate environment. In addition to praise, it also earns him sharp criticism. We see an author who still hasn't quite found his inner balance. Just like in his books, he is disarmingly honest and therefore also vulnerable. Moreover, the consequences of his personal revelations become visible, for himself and his loved ones.
