The Hermitage Dwellers plot

For over a year, director Aliona van der Horst filmed and interviewed employees of the famous Hermitage museum in Saint Petersburg. She didn't just film attendants, but those who deserve the honorary title of Hermitaznik. They have been dedicating their lives to the building with its art treasures for more than twenty years. Entirely in the Russian storytelling tradition, these Hermitazjniks tell about their life in and devotion to the colossal palace.
