The opening scene is still somewhat close to the horror genre, but what director Andrew Jones had in mind with the rest of the film is beyond me. An eccentric, but nevertheless extremely uninteresting family is presented for most of the film and each of the members faces their own problems, the sad thing is that this is not very interesting. What the film also has in its disadvantage is the terrible acting and the complete lack of atmosphere. By the way, I assume that the screenplay has to make you believe that the characters are somewhat human and therefore worthy of some sympathy, otherwise I absolutely cannot explain the messy finale. The whole thing does not include any element that I as a viewer can be somewhat positive about, so the lowest score is only logical. A striking fact outside of this production is that Jones unfortunately died early last year from an unknown illness, something you wouldn't wish on anyone.
