Chiisai Ouchi plot
Takeshi finds some diaries written by his great-aunt Taki Nunomiya. Through this, he learns about her life as a housekeeper in a small house in Tokyo just before World War II. The household also consists of toy factory worker Masaki, his beautiful wife Tokiko and their five-year-old son Kyoichi. Taki learns that the young artist Shoji Itakura regularly visits Tokiko and begins an affair with her.
