Young Aaron is found the only survivor after an accident at sea. The other five members of the crew, including his beloved older brother, are believed to have drowned. The remote Scottish fishing village where Aaron lives blames him for the tragedy, fueled by local superstitions. As a result, Aaron is kicked out of the village society. Not believing his brother died at sea, Aaron sets out in search of the missing crew members.
