Since movies with a paranormal theme are usually not my thing, my expectations were not set too high beforehand. That was a clear error of judgment this time, because this psychological thriller with a few intriguing twists surprised me pleasantly. This is partly due to the excellent interaction between Mike Strong and Taissa Farmiga (whom I only vaguely remember from the “The Bling Ring”).

Nice psychological mystery thriller, originally my favorite genre. The sci-fi premise that you can look into other people's memories/memories is only used as a means in the film and is not a subject: that is pleasant to watch.
The film fits the standard thriller ticks just fine and from the start it's clear "something is up with Anna". But that's okay, the tension is fine (the opening scene maybe too much, compared to the rest) and it's held for the entire length. It doesn't go very deep, we get the clues here and there, but enough to keep it mysterious and interesting. Acting by Anna actress is strong, the rest somewhat forced. You feel a twist coming and maybe the last fifteen minutes is a bit weaker than hoped. All in all, more than enough and nice to see a nice thriller again. (7.5)
