Beautiful 18-year-old Lake has a relationship with Desirée and reluctantly works as a lifeguard. But lately, he's found himself secretly quite attracted to the older men in the pool. When one of them nearly drowns, Lake saves him, but in a way that's a little too enthusiastic and Lake can't help but acknowledge his own desires. Some time later, his mother recruits him for a job in a home for the elderly. There he meets Mr Peabody and he falls in love instantly. When he discovers that Mr. Peabody is constantly being overdosed on drugs, he helps him escape: the start of a surprising and romantic road trip.
