Who says Venice, says romance. A dream destination for tourists all over the world, more than 20 million a year. But the world's most beautiful city has gradually become uninhabitable: economic life is completely dependent on the tourist industry, the harbor has been jammed up by monstrous pleasure yachts and housing has become unaffordable for the average Venetian. 'The Venice Syndrome' is a beautiful requiem for a magnificent city and an ode to the last of its inhabitants, their humor, their stubbornness and their big heart.
