"Now it's our turn."
Bosom friends Vince and Ben are two publishers. To save their business, they must get a well-known writer under contract. She will be attending an extravagant party in the Hamptons of media mogul Jeffrey Fields, who also wants her under contract. Unfortunately, Vince and Ben are not invited. Cameron, Vince's wife with whom he has an open relationship, has received an invitation without his knowledge. She uses this opportunity to have a wild day. Ben's wife, Kate, goes after her to change her mind but gives in to the temptations herself. When Vince and Ben arrive, this leads to the most hilarious situations.

In terms of a lame story (in the style of American Pie 2) and comedy, it doesn't really amount to anything on paper. But I still enjoyed it quite a bit and I also had to smile regularly (among other things at the gay dog and Michael McKean in the role of Jeffrey Fields who more or less acts like the Hollywood male slut). The execution was also quite funny and that was mainly due to the rather nice different characters and of course the many female beauties (better said "Cougars") in the form of Tammin Sursok (was a bit of a plank, but she still had something), Virginia Williams (was my favorite) and the exotic Lucila Solá. Unfortunately, these women don't all get naked (they can often be admired wearing only lingerie), but there is still some nudity of other women at the end. The pace is quite high and all kinds of things happen, from lame to funny to spicy.
All in all, it was fun to see once and it can be done as an in-between.

The first 50 minutes of this modern take on the screwball comedy contain enough ingredients for success: due to a number of misunderstandings and miscommunications, two lovers suspect each other of cheating. This is partly because the other halves of a friendly couple actually do so. A confrontation occurs when the story takes both couples to a villa where other characters complicate matters even further and from that moment on things go downhill very quickly. Greif quickly runs out of ideas and completely loses the thread. The cast is all over the place and the large amount of 'nudity' (the male genitals are neatly camouflaged in the editing) and sexual innuendo underscores the desperate attempts to save what can be saved. And that is precious little.

I thought this would be a really badly scripted and acted movie, but I just wanted to try it because I was curious about Tammin Sursok and Jesse Bradford. The beginning was indeed cringe-worthy, but I soon found out that I actually liked the movie. It is full of clichés where every situation goes wrong and leads to hilarious situations, but they executed them well and I laughed a lot. So it was surprisingly fun!
