Eskil is nine and has lived in as many places as he is years old. He is torn between his desire to meet his mother in Copenhagen and his loyalty to his father in northern Sweden and the possibilities for his hockey ambitions there. When he meets the strange Trinidad, who is building a boat to sail to the Caribbean, he thinks this opens up possibilities.
