Baptiste is a loner and gifted teacher in the south of France. He knows how to bring his craft to life but never stays in the same spot for more than a semester. A slow drama in which quite a bit of hidden suffering is slowly revealed. Not that that really makes for an interesting film. It was not exactly clear to me what Baptiste and Sandra saw in each other, and that makes it a bit difficult to follow the rest of the story.

Beautiful images here and there, but I was also occasionally annoyed by the forced, restless camera work.

A film about a teacher who becomes entangled in another life by a student and is therefore confronted with his past. The story builds up very slowly, without you having any idea where it is going. Although you also have your own thoughts about it. It doesn't really make you happy. But in the end it turns out to be a somewhat completed story with a satisfying ending. An above-average fine film that is beautifully acted by the leading actors and cleverly and tightly directed by the director.
