Five Dances plot
Eighteen-year-old Chip, a highly talented dancer, moves from Kansas to New York to pursue his love of dancing. His parents are not happy with his choice and are constantly putting emotional pressure on him to return. Hired into a small dance troupe, he soon learns the mores of a New York dance career where discipline, hard work, camaraderie, competition, fear of underperforming and the euphoria of success define every minute of the day.
