Assassination Tango plot
John Anderson (Robert Duvall) is a near-retired hit man from New York. With the money earned from his assignments, he supports his girlfriend Maggie (Kathy Baker) and her daughter Jenny (Katherine Micheaux Miller). Of course, neither of them know what this taciturn mysterious man does for a living. For John Anderson, it's time to perform his last trick and then settle down. His very last target is a very wealthy general from Buenos Aires. Due to the general's unexpected absence, the assassin has time to explore the city. After the necessary wanderings, John ends up in a tango club where he falls for the charms of dancer Manuela (Luciana Pedraza). What follows is a grueling romance between the introverted hit man and the extroverted tango dancer.
