Corações Sujos plot
During the chaos that followed World War II, the Japanese migrant community in Brazil was divided into two groups regarding Japan's loss in the war. For about eighty percent of the Japanese immigrants, Japan had won the war, and the defeat was nothing more to them than American propaganda. The remaining Japanese immigrants who accepted the loss of Japan and accepted the truth were persecuted. Some were hunted down and killed by their own countrymen, sparking another private war. The wife of one of the fanatics devoted to heralding Japanese victory, sees her hardworking husband gradually grow into a murderer, and their love fades away.
