Der Sündenbock von Spatzenhausen plot

Ferdinand Schöberl is station master in the southern German village of Spatzenhausen and loves his work with heart and soul. His self-proclaimed mission is to finally wake up the local community by upgrading the small provincial station so that it can serve as a stop for the express train. Coach entrepreneur Angerholzer also sees queues of tourists in his dreams, but then by road. While Schöberl cunningly works the authorities for 'his train station', Angerholzer tries to have an access road built to connect to the 'European road network'. A personal feud erupts between the two opposites.
