Mother of George plot

The time has finally come for the handsome Ayodele Balogun, owner of a small Nigerian restaurant in Brooklyn, to marry his fiancée Adenike and start a new life in the United States. Their traditional Yoruba wedding culminates in a ceremony where Adenika is named after her yet-to-be-begotten son, George. But as months pass without a pregnancy, Ma George finds herself in a bind between her Yoruba culture and her new life in America as she faces uncomfortable and unfamiliar choices in the battle to save her marriage.
