"A Feast For All Of The Senses!"
The film starts in black and white; a man looks at a tombstone. On the stone is a picture - it is his own image. Then more black and white images, and the image of a woman. Colored images follow, and the woman moves. The staring man is a communist in crisis. The woman - his wife - is psychologically disturbed and can be very aggressive at times. They find themselves in an Italian village and preparations for the feast in honor of their patron saint are in full swing.
