King Cobra plot

"It moves without sound... thirty feet of pure venom."

While investigating animal mutation, a lab explodes and the lab animal, half-cobra, half-rattlesnake escapes. Not only is the animal extraordinarily large, it has also been made extra aggressive by the experiments. Not much later, the first deaths from snakebites are found in the nearby town of Fillmore.
