Anne is an orphan and very imaginative. When she arrives with her new adoptive parents, she learns that she needs to be a sensible person every now and then. Her uniqueness changes. The story tells about Anne's growth from eleven to seventeen years, about her friends and her school days. At one point in her life, she must make a difficult decision and perhaps find a new dream.
