A powerful film about a father-daughter relationship, with a fantastic performance by Mikael Persbrandt as the father, Hasse. The film also provides a compelling snapshot of socialist Sweden in the 1970s.

A beautiful film about sadness and broken people and here and there a glimmer of hope.

It's a shame this film is so unknown. It's truly a beautiful film. A film about a girl's life after her parents' divorce. Very moving and very intimate. The film builds incredibly cleverly, allowing the viewer to truly empathize with the main characters. And the acting is also truly beautiful. Certainly not a cheerful film, but one that left a deep impression.

The film took a while to get going, but if you persevere it becomes a beautiful film, especially the addiction problem is presented in a fascinating way.
