'Kukan': The Battle Cry of China plot

In order to document the Chinese resistance against the Japanese invasion on film, journalist Rey Scott flies to Haiphong in 1941 and then travels with a convoy of trucks on the Burma Road to China. All kinds of supplies are transported by truck, cart, boat and by road by men. Scott records that several Burmese tribes along the route are united by their guerrilla war against the Japanese. Scott shows entire factories that were transported in parts thousands of miles from the coast through the interior to protect them from Japanese attacks. Scott also meets Madame Chiang Kai-shek, who oversees thousands of refugee children, and her husband Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, both at home and with his soldiers.
