Sensô to Hitori no Onna plot
Japan at the end of World War II. The civilians see the end of the war approaching and wait in desperation for the invasion by the Allies. Nomura is a writer without any self-esteem because he managed to avoid the trenches through his writing skills. He starts a relationship with an ex-prostitute who is happy during this time 'because everyone is unhappy now!' They decide to lock themselves up and have sex until the end, either from themselves or from the war. Meanwhile, Ohira, who lost his arm as a soldier in China, has returned to Japan. He has trouble adjusting and starts killing women.
