Carl Mørck and Assad, a somewhat strange police duo, work in the Q department: the department that deals with cases that are about to expire. They become involved in a five-year-old case involving a missing woman, Merete. Soon they find themselves in the darkest corners of Scandinavia in search of a psychopathic killer. But the truth is worse than they could have imagined.

Extremely entertaining detective. The plot and twists are rather standard, not very original and at times somewhat predictable, but very skillfully made, so it doesn't matter at all. Nikolaj Lie Kaas plays very well and forms a good couple with Fares Fares. I found the film quite gripping and exciting at times, especially towards the end. Class construction. Really enjoyed last night.
