I read the book and discovered by accident that there was a movie adaptation. The book has a lot of humor in it. The film version is not bad in itself, but unfortunately has some flaws. The fact that I've read the book won't help my judgment either. You have with most book adaptations. Anton Yelchin is too light to carry the film. That is less noticeable, because the other actors are also not very noticeable. Addison Timlin does bring some refreshment to the film. Could be a little spicier, but works well.

Furthermore, the film has stayed close to the book, so that at least there is a story. It stays a bit light and happy. Although I will mainly remember the book and less this film adaptation.

Friendly.

A film that I had once just picked up on film1, but hadn't written a review on it at the time. Unfortunately, we don't see Yelchin on the screens anymore, which is a shame, because I honestly thought he was quite a promising actor.

The film itself offers little. Story is decent but not original, few interesting things done with the camera. The effects are also decent but nowhere high. I could still appreciate the acting.

Not much happens, but the film definitely knows how to entertain. This gives the film a pass, because it kept me well entertained. The twists and Mystery also provide a bonus.

They should have made a series on this subject aimed at teenagers. I certainly enjoyed it, but even if you get the most out of the concept, it will not be above average. So good 3 stars. *3.0
