Mama Illegal plot

Residents of penniless Moldova sacrifice their savings and risk their lives for an illegal existence abroad. The film follows three women from the small neighboring country of Romania, who work as illegal cleaning women in Austria and Italy. Some illegal workers have been separated from their children and family for years, cannot rely on medical help and are also at risk of deportation. The people who stay at home in Moldova are also filmed.
