Atmospheric, vague and painful. Beautiful combination of dramatic image and sound. The setting of the accident made me doubt the location of the accident, both geographically and in the story: was it just Northern Europe and was my brother just along or just a fantasy, does the film start with the end or with the beginning? In any case, the story is so vague that there is no real talk about countries. Only the banknotes give vague impressions. I also discovered in the Stellendam harbour/edge Kwade Hoek in the images of the beach, familiar terrain. The dark and misty polder roads are also typical for the area in that area.

Csilla is literally central in this thinly veiled, even mysterious film about a wandering girl who, after a car accident, goes in search (or not?) of her little brother whom she could not find anywhere. It immediately becomes clear with the final shot of the film what happened. Quite cynical, though.
The film has very few words or dialogues. It is the images that speak with long shots. Quite minimalistic and raw shot. It is also what the film relies on to tell its story.
Not 100% convinced, but I do appreciate the film.
