"Love is in the air ducts."
Darren has just broken off with his boyfriend. In addition, he is not very sure of his job and has no idea what he will do in the future. He feels alone and kills time watching old movies and eavesdropping on his neighbors upstairs: a sexy gay couple, who have no idea their voices are so easy to hear downstairs. Darren is especially interested in the sexual experiences of the two and discovers that one is probably cheating on the other. Meanwhile, Darren flirts with Joe, the maintenance man at the complex where he lives. This one is a divorced father and has come out as gay. He could be an ideal partner for Darren, but he is too preoccupied with stalking the upstairs neighbors and he goes a long way.
