"Freedom is possible"
Baseball star Cory Brand knows what it takes to win in the big leagues. But off the field, his life spirals out of control due to past memories. Hoping to save his career and reputation after drunk driving and a suspension, his agent sends him back to the small town where he grew up. Forced to coach the local youth baseball team and spend eight weeks in the town's only rehab clinic, Cory can't wait to get back to his old life. But when the youthful players help him experience the fun of the game, Cory discovers his need to leave the past behind, find hope for the future, and reclaim the love he left behind.
