Moran of the Lady Letty plot
The wealthy young man, Ramon Laredo, is kidnapped and then taken aboard a ship commanded by the not-so-scrupulous smuggler Captain "Slippery" Kitchell. When Kitchell's ship encounters the sinking Lady Letty en route, some of the crew are taken aboard, including Letty "Moran" Sternerson, Captain Eilert Sternersen's feisty daughter. Moran and Ramon have little to do with each other at first, but that seems to change when Kitchell sets his evil eye on Moran…
