The Last Mountain plot

"A Fight For Our Future"

A documentary about the battle for Coal River Mountain in West Virginia as local community and environmentalists vehemently oppose the plans of coal company Massey Energy. The company has almost all the documents to extract coal from a mountain range. However, the method causes a lot of unrest in the community. Massey Energy uses explosives to raze mountain peaks to the ground. The debris is then dumped into nearby valleys and rivers. The opponents prefer to see an environmentally friendly solution.
