Just before December 5, Sinterklaas mysteriously disappears from the castle. The Piets of the Club don't understand and get worried. When Sinterklaas shows up again a little later, he says unkind things and behaves strangely. What happened to Santa Claus? And what was that Toy Doctor doing at the castle? It is Mees and his girl next door Katja who discover what is going on with Sinterklaas and what the secret of the strange Toy Doctor is. Pakjesavond is in danger and they have to warn the Pieten of De Club van Sinterklaas as soon as possible! Will the Club Pieten and Mees & Katja succeed in unmasking the Toy Doctor in time? Will they still be able to let Pakjesavond continue this year?
