X Densha de Ikou plot

Toru works as a clerk in the Tokyo subway. When he hears one day that an old train has to be scrapped, something changes in him. The next day, the old train has disappeared without a trace and a strange ghost train is roaming the subway. Toru slowly realizes that he is linked to the old train, but he is not the only one interested in this strange phenomenon.
