Room 237 plot

"Some movies stay with you forever... and ever... and ever."

'Room 237' is a documentary that explores the many theories about the hidden meanings in Stanley Kubrick's 'The Shining'. That film may be over 30 years old, but it continues to inspire conversations and speculation. Five different angles are highlighted through voice-over, films, animation and dramatic reconstructions.

There were a lot of far-fetched theories in my mind, boy, boy. A lot of assumptions that sometimes do not lead to a conclusion.

Some people really have nothing to do in their lives.

Just watch The Shining and enjoy!

A documentary about one of the best films ever made must be interesting, right? Think again, it seems like the same kind of people who believe Paul McCartney is dead and even play the movie backwards to find clues?
And it even goes so far that they supposedly found evidence in this film that Kubrick faked the moon landing. They take everything so seriously while it is also clear that Kubrick had a sense of humor and perhaps included those little clues to the moon landing that only the biggest nerds pick out with a wink, it was therefore laughable that they did not mention that option and continued to discuss it with great seriousness and conviction.

Although 80% of the theories in this film are not credible at all and have minimal substantiation, the remaining 20% are still quite interesting at times.
To name a few examples, the Hitler mustache and the theory about the Native Americans were very interesting. Or how they almost seem to come under a car at the beginning of the film, but the scene stops just then, was something I hadn't noticed before.

A lot of far-fetched crap in this movie but at the same time some interesting angles.

2*
