Couleur de Peau: Miel plot
Since the end of the Korean War, 200,000 Korean children have been scattered around the world. Jung is one of them, born in Seoul in 1965 and adopted by a Belgian family in 1971. At the age of 42 Jung, now a cartoonist, went in search of his roots. The journey became not only a search for his biological parents, but also a reconciliation with his mixed feelings about his history. All the memories that came to mind were recorded and transcribed and published in the comic strip 'Couleur de Peau' and now filmed under the same title. A small part of the film (the journey) consists of lifelike images, the rest consists of animation.
