Stvorylka plot

In a small Slovak town, expectations are high in 1910 as a result of the annual ball: the biggest event of the year. The arrival of a regiment of soldiers turns the whole community upside down. To separate their betrothed from the soldiers, many men try to cancel the entire prom. However, the mayor and the regimental commander decide that the whole thing must go ahead at all costs.
