"Fear The Demon That Doesn't Fear God"
The young girl Em buys an antique box at a flea market, unaware that inside the collector's item lives a Dibbuk (an evil spirit). Em becomes obsessed with her artifact and the Dibbuk devours its human victim. Her father Clyde and his ex-wife Stephanie try to find a way to end the curse on their child.

Disappointing, very disappointing even.
It really never gets exciting, scary or all kinds of other cumulative that you can unleash on a horror film.
It's not horror, it can't even be called a thriller. The only thing that was good were those actors who really went out of their way to make something out of the weak story. Maybe this is exciting for a horror night at a high school pajama party, but for a seasoned horror fan like me, this is really 3x nothing. I've been waiting for 93 minutes for that one scary moment, that one exciting twist in the plot, that hidden tension that you actually expect in these kinds of films, but unfortunately, none of that, yuck what a waste of my time.
0.5* for the actors.

The film lives on a clichéd story, we've seen this before. The movie shouldn't have that. But the cast is not bad and the atmosphere is especially good. At the right moments and the necessary tension. Also some nice shots, although like the rest of the film it is nowhere memorable. Let's say it's not a new dish, but the cook knows his trade.
