Very cheap, but sometimes a nice revenge movie. The performances are sub-zero, but, as has already been said here, the film does not stand still, something is constantly happening. The soundtrack with electronic tunes is a small added value for the film. I wonder where all those men kept coming from? It was "one against a hundred"!

Cheap Italian B action movie. Quite loud, but the dubbing is really terrible. For the rest there is nothing visually wrong with it and it is a nice action pulp. 3.5.

Delicious Italo schlock from Lamberto Bava (Demoni), who with Blastfighter makes a kind of mix between Rambo First Blood, Deliverance and the Spaghetti Western subgenre.
Michael Sopkiw (rip off Snake Plissken from 2019 After the Fall of New York) is once again wonderfully cool as a stiff anti-hero. George Eastman is a slightly less exuberant bad guy than we are normally used to from him.
Starts very nice. The soundtrack (Fabio Frizzi) is great. And in a sort of John Wick-like way, Sopkiw's first thread snaps early on when his pet deer's throat is slit by some rednecks (all Italians, by the way). The real action starts when his daughter dies. This is accompanied by a lot of explosions, gunshot wounds (always nice when attention is paid to this in terms of practical effects. That distinguishes Blastfighter a bit from the really cheap Italian action films) and even the occasional limb that is blown off.
The ending is quite abrupt. How unsatisfactory even. But Blastfighter is a great snack for fans of Italian 80's rip-off action. Nice detail. They've recast the banjo player from Deliverance here... As a banjo player.
