Beforehand I expected something like a Korean version of George Sluizer's Spoorloos. The film starts exactly the same, but then a completely different mystery develops about identity fraud. Although the film is quite exciting at times, it could have had a bit more pace. I know Seon-gyun Lee from a few amusing comedies. He is better at that than this kind of drama.

Melancholic thriller/drama about the disappearance of a woman in a parking lot. Her future husband, who had just left, tries to find her. Then follows a further development that the American film industry would not dare to undertake. Because the film deviates far from the beaten track and does not aim to please the crowd. The man discovers that his wife had a hidden existence and lived with him under a stolen identity.

This detective film is very slow, layered and complex, but also gripping and original. Requires a lot of attention, because flashbacks are not indicated and there are many details to process. Suddenly you have to understand that you are watching events in the past, and every piece of the puzzle has a place. This makes the film, especially in the first half, not so easy to follow. Those who persevere will be rewarded with a quite shocking ending. You won't get out of this with a good feeling. Somewhere between 3 and 3.5*.
