Following a bet, Phileas Fogg leaves with his servant Passepartout for a journey around the world in eighty days. Because the English bank has just been robbed, the bank manager suspects that Fogg is the perpetrator and that he has fled with the loot. In order to get hold of him, detective Fix is sent after the two.
