The always hard-working Kurt Wendell becomes yet another victim of the economic crisis when he loses his top job at a financial institution. Out of shame and anger he cannot bring himself to tell the news to his family. Instead, he loads his unsuspecting wife and children into the car—just like that on an ordinary school and work day—and drives them to a remote place, far from civilization. There, Kurt wants to finish one last job. A deadly project, starring his wife, his children and the black and blue man who is locked up in the attic. They'll all know that Kurt Wendell won't be fired just like that.
