A group of friends in New York, working on their PCs and laptops, only keep in touch via fax and telephone. They are too busy to meet in person. Gale plays, over the phone, matchmaker for Jerry and Barbara, who in turn get along just fine, via fax and telephone. Martin gets a phone call from a stranger. It's Denise, with an extraordinary piece of news. They develop a kind of friendship with each other through the PC, and they talk to each other… over the phone. And so the friends go on, sharing news, hopes and dreams, via PC, fax and telephone...
