The Doorway to Hell plot
Louie Ricarno is a smart boy. He plans to organize the various gangs in Chicago so that they no longer liquidate each other. Louie thrives on the success of his leadership. He marries Doris and retires to Florida to write his autobiography and play golf. During his absence, however, the gang war flares up again, but Louie has no intention of returning.
